Cybrius Rider and Cybrius Restaurant Admin apps · Last updated: 8 October 2026

Cybrius builds the Cybrius Rider app (for delivery riders and branch managers) and the Cybrius Restaurant Admin app (for restaurant owners and managers). Restaurants use these apps with their own Cybrius ordering system. This policy explains what the apps collect and how it is used.

Who is responsible for your data. The restaurant you work for decides what is collected about you and why; Cybrius provides the apps and processes the data for the restaurant. For questions about your data at a restaurant, ask that restaurant first. Each restaurant’s own privacy policy is linked in the app (rider profile).

What the Cybrius Rider app collects

  • Account details: your name, mobile number, branch, vehicle type and number, and sign-in details.
  • Precise location in the background: while you are on duty, the app collects your location even when it is closed or not in use, so your branch can assign you orders and customers can follow their delivery. The app explains this and asks for permission before it starts. Location is not collected when you go off duty.
  • Phone status: battery level and whether a fake-location app is used, sent with your location.
  • Camera: a photo of the handover as proof of delivery, only when your restaurant asks for it.
  • Delivery records: orders delivered, times, cash collected and handed over, pay and bonuses.
  • Notification token: to ring your phone when you get an order.

What the Cybrius Restaurant Admin app collects

  • Your sign-in details for each restaurant you add, and a notification token for new-order alerts.
  • The app shows the restaurant’s orders, sales and rider information; it does not collect your location, contacts, photos or microphone.

How it is used

  • To run deliveries: assign orders, show riders on the branch map, show customers where their order is, and record cash and pay.
  • To send order alerts and notifications.
  • To keep accounts safe and prevent misuse, such as fake locations.

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising. The apps do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Who sees it

  • Your restaurant’s managers and staff, and the customer whose order you are delivering (your name, phone number and live location until the order is delivered).
  • The restaurant’s POS system, if connected, for order and rider records.
  • Service providers that make the apps work: the restaurant’s hosting, Apple, Google and Expo for notifications, and map providers (OpenStreetMap, Google Maps).
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

How long it is kept

  • Location history is deleted automatically after the number of days the restaurant sets (30 days unless changed).
  • Delivery, cash and pay records are kept as long as the restaurant needs them for its accounts.
  • Sign-in details on your phone are removed when you sign out or uninstall the app.

Your choices

  • You can switch location, camera and notifications off in your phone’s settings; the rider app then cannot share your location for deliveries.
  • Going off duty stops location sharing.
  • To see, correct or delete your data, ask your restaurant’s manager, or contact us and we will pass the request to the restaurant and help it within 30 days.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Sign-in tokens are stored in the phone’s secure storage. Staff see only what their role needs.

Children

These apps are for restaurant staff and riders, not for children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
